Nadja retaliates on the pair of hunters, Rolle (Tomas Bergström) and Jarmo (Kalled Mustonen), who damaged their car and the couple head out into the wilderness with their dog Boris when Nadja tells David the happy news. Their arrival isn't exactly a warm and welcome one from the locals as Nadja is first blanked by a woman in the local pub, Mona (Anna Azcárate), and their vehicle is scratched up and a racist insult is scrawled on it. In order to salvage their marriage, David suggests a trip away to Bear Valley in the North of Sweden for a ski hike. It seems apparent that Tomas had a trauma in his past involving a child, which is important to remember. ![]() Nadja confides in their neighbour Tomas (Thomas Hanzon) that she's pregnant, but isn't sure she wants to keep it. ![]() ![]() The movie then cuts back to a year and a half earlier when David proposed to Nadja, before catching up to them in the present day when it's clear they have their marital issues. We know that David and Nadja don't have the brightest future ahead of them as Red Dot opens with David telling an unknown assailant that "it wasn't her fault", before we see Nadja running away. ![]()
